New Med. That's it.

Whelp, we're all back home. Pretty much the only thing different is that Crew has a new med. They changed him from Prevacid to Omeprazole. They said it can take time to take full effect, so we have to wait and see. The pumps at the hospital are much better than the one that we have through home health. They pump at a constant amount vs a pulse of fluid via a rotor around the feed tubing. The home health company doesn't have the good pump at all, though. It also costs $1500 to buy. 😆 We're thinking we'd rather just spend that money on a company that helps to get kids off of feeding tubes faster...

Back home in the comfort of his Boppy lounger

So, we're back home and just get to experiment on our own to see what gets Crew some comfort during his feeds. The doctors also took him off of his oxygen. He was only on .016 while he was in deepest sleep at night. We'll hang on to his tanks for a bit longer, though, and probably still use his monitor at night for the next little bit just to be safe and see how it goes.

Oh, one more fun thing - Lindsay and I sat down to eat today in the hospital cafeteria and looked across to see the parents of Crew's NICU roommates (twins) sitting right there! It was fun to see them today and catch up on how things are going for them. They were able to bring their boy home about a month ago, but their girl has still been at Primary's. She was having an operation today, and if all goes well there is a good chance she'll get go join her brother at home this Sunday (Mother's Day!!!). If you're willing, keep them in your prayers too so that the mom would get that awesome Mother's Day gift. ❤️

Thank you for all the message, prayers and support!
